Ex-Lion Parling joins Rebels coaches

Former British and Irish Lions lock Geoff Parling and foundation prop Nic Henderson have taken up coaching roles with the Melbourne Rebels.

Former Melbourne Rebels players Geoff Parling and Nic Henderson have shifted into the coaching ranks of the Super Rugby club.

Ex-British and Irish Lion and England lock Parling, who played last season, is the line-out coach for 2019.

Foundation prop Henderson will be the scrum consultant, while also continuing in his role running the Rebels and Rugby Victoria pathway programs.

The remainder of the coaching staff is unchanged with Shaun Berne (attack) and Kevin Foote (defence) assisting head coach Dave Wessels.
