Ex-Nationals boss lands Snowy Hydro role

The federal government has appointed a former National Party strategist to the Snowy Hydro board.

Former Nationals federal director Scott Mitchell has been appointed a non-executive director of Snowy Hydro.

Mr Mitchell's three-year role started on March 26.

He was also trade policy manager at the National Farmers' Federation and heads his own consultancy.
