Expo brings latest robotics to South Korea

South Korean robotics enthusiasts are attending the start of the RoboUniverse conference and expo in the city of Goyang.

South Korea's RoboUniverse conference and expo is underway, showcasing the latest technologies in the growing industry.

Students, military personnel and industry professionals were among those in attendance at the Korea International Exhibition Centre in Goyang, north of Seoul for the start of the expo.

Organisers of RoboUniverse, which runs through to Friday, say it offers participants the chance to explore "the incredible field of robotics, including their development, application, and use."

Global exhibitors showed off robot ball games, the latest in virtual technology and innovative drones to the delight of the enthusiastic crowd.
