Two brothers of Kings Cross nightclub figure John Ibrahim will face a Sydney court over their alleged role in an international drug-smuggling conspiracy.
Michael and Fadi Ibrahim, who were arrested in Dubai over a month ago, arrived in Sydney on Saturday night after being extradited.
Australian Federal Police and their state counterparts arrested 18 people early last month during a series of raids in Sydney and Dubai.
The Ibrahims will appear in Sydney's Central Local Court on Monday.
The AFP said four men were extradited and would face charges including conspiracy to import a commercial quantity of a border controlled drug, dealing in the proceeds of crime and possession of imported tobacco.
Underworld figures Mustapha Dib, Ahmad "Rock" Ahmad and Koder Jomaa, who were also implicated in the conspiracy.
Police say they thwarted the syndicate's plans to smuggle two tonnes of illicit drugs into Australia.
The haul, which included 1.8 tonnes of MDMA and was estimated to be worth $810 million, was seized by authorities in the Netherlands in July.
AFP Assistant Commissioner Neil Gaughan said the extraditions demonstrated the reach of Australian law authorities around the world.
Those arrested also include John Ibrahim's son Daniel and his model girlfriend Sarah Budge.
There are no allegations involving John Ibrahim, although police did search his Dover Heights home when the year-long operation reached its end.
