The switchover process from analogue to digital television began in Australia last year. Here are some facts about what you can expect and what you need to do.

The switchover process from analogue to digital television began in Australia last year.

Parts of regional Victoria, South Australia and Queensland have already had their analogue signal switched off.

Canberra, Mildura, the Murrumbidgee and south and central New South Wales switched over today.

Northern New South Wales (excluding Sydney) will be next, in November 2012.
