Faf unsure ahead of Adelaide Test

South African captain Faf du Plessis is unsure whether his side are on top or not in the day-night Test match against Australia in Adelaide.

South Africa's cricket captain Faf du Plessis says he has no idea how his team are placed as they prepare for the second day of the day-night Test against Australia in Adelaide.

Faf du Plessis declared at nine for 259 after winning the toss in the third Test at Adelaide Oval yesterday and Australia will resume later today 0-14.

But Du Plessis says he doesn't know if his side banked a good score yesterday, how the pink ball will behave or what the day-night fixture will do to the natural body clock of his players.
