The 27-year-old was one of three soldiers killed in a helicopter crash in the Afghan province of Kandahar on June 21.
A large contingent of family and friends is expected to attend the service on the banks of Lake Tinaroo, near Private Chuck's home town of Yungaburra, west of Cairns.

Private Chuck's family returned to Yungaburra on Tuesday with his body after it was repatriated to Sydney on the weekend.
His fellow soldiers have already farewelled their fallen comrade at military services in Afghanistan and at Sydney's RAAF base.
