Fatal motorcycle crash in NSW's Hunter

A car and a motorcycle have collided in the NSW Hunter region and the rider has died at the scene.

A motorcyclist has died in a collision with a car in the NSW Hunter region.

NSW police said the rider, who was yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

The crash happened at Cessnock on Thursday afternoon.
