The police officer at the centre of violent race-based unrest in the United States has spoken publicly for the first time.
Darren Wilson was cleared by a Grand Jury for shooting dead an unarmed black teenager in August.
And, as Santilla Chingaipe reports, despite the protests and riots that followed both the original event and now the decision, officer Wilson has defended his actions.
