Festival of hockey to be held in Victoria

Both Australia's mens and women's hockey teams will host India in Victoria in various tournaments during November.

The Kookaburras and Hockeyroos will play matches in Victoria as part of a post-Olympics hockey festival in November.

A four-team men's event will be played in Melbourne, including the Australia, India, Malaysia and a yet-to-be-announced team.

Both India and Australia will then head to the Victorian town of Bendigo for another two-match Test series on November 29 and 30.

The Hockeyroos will also take on India's national women's side in a tournament in Melbourne.

India are set to send their men's team to Australia every year for the next three years as part of a deal signed last year.
