FIFA says it's working hard to deter a repeat of clashes between fans during Euro 2016 in France as Russia gets ready to host the Confederations Cup.
FIFA's secretary general Fatma Samoura said individuals who have been implicated in previous acts of violence will not be allowed into the stadiums,
FIFA has been working with Russian authorities on a daily basis to prevent the clashes that rocked the French city of Marseille during last year's European Championships, Samoura said.
She called misbehaviour among fans an international problem.
English and Russian fans in particular were caught brawling during last year's tournament.
This year's Confederations Cup, which will involve the Socceroos, will be held in the major Russian cities of St Peterburg, Moscow, Sochi and Kazan from June 17 to July 2.
It will be a test of Russia's capability of hosting the World Cup next year.
