Fighting chance: one boy's battle with Tourette's

Tourette Syndrome, with its involuntary muscle movements and vocalisations called tics, can make life unbearable for those with the condition and for their loved ones.

A teenager in the United States, Zack Lamb, has such a severe case that doctors had to put him in an induced coma to try to bring his condition under control.

Now his family is considering a rare surgical procedure, and they've allowed Dateline's cameras to chronicle their story.

Journalist Aaron Lewis told Greg Dyett about the teenager's debilitating condition and the operation that might give him a second chance.
