Anja Stridsman has qualified to be among a group of 13 boxers set to represent Australia at next year's Commonwealth Games.
The Swedish born 30-year-old won the 60kg division at last weekend's national championships despite suffering a serious knee injury two months ago.
After winning the final, Stridsman broke down in tears.
"I was just so happy I did it," Stridsman told SBS World News.
"This hasn't been done before, I think."

Stridsman says nothing will stop her from competing at the Commonwealth Games, which are being held on the Gold Coast in April 2018.
"I'm just going to get stronger and better," Stridsman said.
"When the Commonwealth Games start, I'm going to be better than ever before."
Stridsman came to Australia from Sweden a decade ago to study and never left.
“Boxing is the one thing that kind of really cemented this is where my life is and this is where I’m staying,” she said.
Stridsman started boxing seven years ago to keep fit but discovered a passion for the sport.
“I knew that women could now go to the Olympics so I wanted to go to the Olympics,” Stridsman said.
“I set my goal really high and ever since then I just never stopped.”
