Finch steers Lions to IPL win

Australian batsman Aaron Finch has guided the Gujarat Lions to a three-wicket victory over the Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

Aaron Finch hit an unbeaten half-century to steer the Gujarat Lions to a last-ball victory over the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.

Needing one run from the final delivery, Finch did it in style by slapping a boundary off Jasprit Bumrah to give the Lions a three-wicket win.

Finch, who made 67 from 54 balls, helped his side to 7-147 in reply to Mumbai's 8-143.

The Lions looked in control for most of the innings but still had some work to do late, needing 11 runs from the final over.

Australian Finch battled cramps on his way to posting his third IPL half-century this season from 46 balls, with the innings featuring seven boundaries and a six.
