Finnish tourist killed in Kakadu crash

A Finnish man has been killed in a car crash in Kakadu National Park and his German passenger is in hospital with suspected spinal injuries.

A Finnish tourist has been killed in a car crash in Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory.

The single-vehicle accident happened on the Kakadu Highway about 30km south of Jabiru on Wednesday afternoon, with the 65-year-old driver dying at the scene.

His passenger, a 59-year-old German man, was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital with suspected spinal injuries and is in a stable condition.
