Fire forces evacuation of Underwater World

No one was hurt after a blaze broke out at the Sunshine Coast's attraction, Underwater World.

Fire investigators are looking into what caused a blaze at a popular Queensland aquarium.

Mooloolaba's Underwater World had to be evacuated when fire broke out on Sunday around 5.30pm (AEST).

No people or animals were hurt. However the blaze caused major damage to part of the complex's roof and a shop.

The Queensland Fire and Rescue Service and the state's police are investigating the cause of the fire.
