A bushfire burning near a town in regional South Australia has been downgraded as police investigate two other suspicious blazes in the state.

A warning for people to evacuate the Tarlee Township has been lifted and replaced with an 'advice' warning after the fire threat reduced, the Country Fire Service said on Tuesday afternoon.

The blaze is about six kilometres from the town.

People near the fire zone are being advised to remain vigilant and to check their properties for any fires and embers, particularly in roof spaces, under decks and in gutters.

Police are also seeking information on a grass fire at Paracombe around 11.20pm on Christmas Day and another in bush at Forreston at about 11.15am on Boxing Day.

CFS crews quickly extinguished the Paracombe fire which burnt about one hectare of grass and it is believed to have been deliberately lit.

The fire on Ironstone Road at Forreston required an aerial bomber and CFS extinguished the small fire which burnt less than half a hectare of grass.

Police ask anyone with information on the two suspicious fires to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at https://crimestopperssa.com.au
