Fires continue to burn in SA

A bushfire, burning out of control in Messent Conversation Park in the southeast of South Australia, may threaten people and property.

About 30 firefighters and water-bombing aircraft are continuing to battle a bushfire burning out of control in a conservation park in South Australia's southeast.

A watch and act message has been issued for the blaze in the Messent Conservation Park with the Country Fire Service warning it may pose a threat to people and property in the area.

The CFS is also monitoring a haystack fire near Jamestown in the mid-north which is expected to burn for several days.

That blaze is sending out sparks and causing spot fires as far as half a kilometre away.
