First Aussie gets hand transplant

A plumber from rural Victoria has become Australia's first hand- transplant recipient.

The landmark ten-hour operation was carried- out by a team of surgeons at Melbourne's St Vincent's Hospital.

While the donor limb has been succesfully attached, it's yet to be seen if the man's body rejects it.
