A group of youngsters from Roebourne in Western Australia's Pilbara has come up with a new comic book.

The Neomads digital comic is a space age fantasy set in the distant future. It was invented by and based on local kids from the Roebourne community with Big Hart Productions and partly funded by mining giant Woodside.

Its goal is to maintain culture while teaching new skills, telling stories and bringing communities together.
