Five assaulted in Adelaide shopping centre

A man has been accused of assaulting five people, one of them a 56-year-old woman, at an Adelaide shopping centre.

A man has been charged after five people were attacked inside a shopping centre in Adelaide's north.

One of the victims, a 56-year-old woman, was hospitalised with a concussion after being assaulted at Regency Plaza Shopping Centre on Thursday afternoon, police say.

The accused man, 20, has been refused bail to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday charged with five counts of assault.
