Five charged after Sydney drug raid

Five men will face court on drugs charges after police allegedly found seven kilograms of 'ice' and more than $1.25 million in cash in Sydney.

Five men have been charged after seven kilos of the drug `ice', a loaded pistol and more than $1.25 million in cash were seized in Sydney raids.

The drugs, worth an estimated street value of $700,000, were found at properties in Zetland and Ultimo on Wednesday night along with the cash and pistol, police say.

Five men - aged 19, 22, 24, 29 and 36 - have been charged with numerous offences including supplying a commercial quantity of drugs. They were all refused bail and are due to face Central Local Court on Thursday.
