Five rescued after boat accident in Sydney

Four patients have been taken to hospital with minor injuries after a boat overturned at The Gap in Sydney's east.

Five people have been rescued from the water after a boat overturned at The Gap in eastern Sydney.

Four patients were taken to St Vincent's hospital for further assessment for minor injuries, a spokeswoman from NSW Ambulance told AAP.

Emergency crews were called to the scene just before 12.30pm on Monday following reports a boat was overturned off the headland.
