RIBERY ON CUSP OF HISTORY
Frank Ribery will be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season but next weekend he could become the only Bundesliga player in history with nine league titles to his name.
The 36-year-old Frenchman, who joined in 2007, has won 21 major titles at Bayern. With a win over RB Leipzig next week he could leave with a record ninth league title.
PIZARRO SCORES AGAINST DORTMUND
Werder Bremen veteran Claudio Pizarro scored against Dortmund after coming on as a substitute. It was the 40-year-old striker's 20th Bundesliga goal as a sub, putting him only a goal behind the all-time leader, Freiburg's Nils Petersen.
LEVERKUSEN STAY IN TOUCH FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SPOT
Bayer Leverkusen have won four games in a row, including Sunday's 6-1 demolition of fellow Champions League hopefuls Eintracht Frankfurt, to move level on points with them in fifth place and stay in contention for a top-four finish.
It was the first time Leverkusen scored six goals in the first half of a league game.
SCHALKE'S DRY RUN CONTINUES BUT CLOSER TO SAFETY
Schalke 04 may have done enough with their 0-0 draw against Augsburg to make sure last season's runners-up remain in the Bundesliga despite a disastrous campaign.
But it was the eighth time they failed to score in a home game this season, more than in any previous Bundesliga campaign. They have also failed to win any of their last seven home games, their worse run since 1992.
COLOGNE ON BRINK OF BUNDESLIGA RETURN
Cologne will seal their return to the Bundesliga if they beat Greuther Fuerth on Monday, with all their second league rivals having lost over the weekend.
Cologne are five points clear at the top and a win would open up an unassailable gap with two matches remaining.
