Melbourne could call upon some forgotten Demons as they bid to crash the AFL's top eight.
The Demons head to Alice Springs to play Port Adelaide on Saturday off the back of a 63-point win over Brisbane.
The six-day break means coach Paul Roos will leave several tired bodies behind in Melbourne, giving hope to several Demons of old.
Former co-captains Jack Trengove and Jack Grimes will be considered for their first games of the season, while flag-winner Chris Dawes is also in the frame.
That they haven't been a part of Melbourne's impressive start to the year shows the transformation underway under Roos.

A host of second-tier Demons stood up in their 63-point win over Brisbane on Sunday but Roos said selecting a 22 to play the Power would be difficult.
"Alice (Springs) on a six-day break, as a coaching group we'd be confident of putting three or four guys in and leaving three or four out," he said.
"When we're tired we don't play that well and we think we've got a list we can rotate around a bit more.
"Dawesy's played his third game. Grimesy has been consistent but hasn't been able to crack in (to the AFL team).
"Trengove has been playing good footy.
"Jack put his hand up during week ... he's not far away."
Roos said he'd locked in defender Neville Jetta to return to the side after his one-week suspension.
It's the first time since 2006 they've been in positive territory after nine games, and they'll sit inside the eight - albeit temporarily - should they beat the Power.
Melbourne's best player this season, Jack Viney, hailed the contribution of the lesser-known Demons against Brisbane.
Alex Neal-Bullen and Ben Newton played their first game of the season against the Lions.
"We're really happy with the contribution right across the board. Guys come up from the VFL and really fit in perfectly," he told AAP.
"Guys like Neal-Bullen and Newton were terrific. Jayden Hunt and Josh Wagner are another couple of examples.
"We've got a really good system and guys are really knocking the door down."
He said the club's 5-4 start was "absolutely exciting".
"It certainly comes across our minds how close we are to the eight. You play this sport to have success, to play finals," he said.
"It's a little taster for the group but we understand there's a long way to go and we have to play some really strong football, some consistent football to even consider finals."
