Michelle Guthrie has reportedly received a payout of more than $800,000 following her sacking as the ABC's managing director.
An ABC spokesperson said a termination payment, in line with her contractual entitlements, was made to Ms Guthrie, but would not comment on the amount.
She was controversially fired from her high-profile position at the national broadcaster in September, halfway through a five-year term.
Ms Guthrie is suing the national broadcaster and has alleged there was political interference and pressure to fire journalists.
