A former nominee for the Coffin Cheaters bikie gang has been fined $15,000 for giving false evidence to Western Australia's corruption watchdog about a violent brawl.
Aaron Dinesh John, 30, is the second person in a week to be fined in the Perth Magistrates Court for lying to the Corruption and Commission (CCC) about a fight between rival gangs at the Kwinana Motorplex in October 2010.
John admitted lying to the CCC at a private hearing in 2010 that was called to assist a police investigation into the fight between members of the Finks and Coffin Cheaters.
At the hearing, John said he did not see an altercation even though he was photographed at the incident.
The court was told on Monday that John was no longer associated with the Coffin Cheaters.

Last week, Danny Sydney Makin, 38, was also fined $15,000 for the same offence.
Three other men are yet to face similar charges.
