Fred Nile takes WA Senate top spot

Labor is fourth on the WA Senate ballot paper, the Liberals are 24th and Fred Nile's party has taken the coveted first position.

The coveted first position on the West Australian Senate ballot paper has gone to the Christian Democratic Party, otherwise known as the Fred Nile Group.

Second place went to Shooters, Fishers and Farmers, while the Nick Xenophon Team grabbed third.

Labor is fourth on the ballot paper while the Liberals are way down the list with the 24th box.
