The French flag is flying high above the Sydney Harbour bridge as hundreds prepare to pray for victims of the Paris terror attacks.
The famous blue, white and red flag has been hoisted alongside the Australian flag in a show of solidarity with the French people.
NSW Premier Mike Baird on Saturday said he would have a French flag made if he could not find one the right size.
"I've asked for French flag to fly over the Harbour Bridge. There isn't one in the country big enough. If we can't find one, we'll make one," Mr Baird tweeted.
He has also announced the sails of the Sydney Opera House will again be illuminated in the French national colours on Sunday and Monday nights.
Meanwhile, hundreds of Sydneysiders are expected to attended a Sunday vigil to commemorate at least 129 people killed and hundreds injured in the unprecedented terror attacks.
Mr Baird and French diplomats will be among those at the 3pm service at Sydney's St Andrews Cathedral.
Another memorial service will also be held at St Mary's Cathedral at 6.30pm on Monday.
