The information kit has been developed by the group, You Me Unity, formed to raise public awareness about the proposal.
It comes after the deferral - due to a lack of public support - of a next year's planned referendum on the proposal.

“It's time for us to make our constitution to reflect our values which have been in place for a long time,” she said.
She said while there was still a lot of work to be done to build greater awareness in the community, there was growing support for constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torre Strait Islander people.
