Friends remember teen killed in Qld crash

Hundreds of people have joined a group remembering a 19-year-old Proserpine man who died in hospital after a north Queensland bus crash.

Friends of a teenager killed by a north Queensland bus crash are remembering their "brother" on social media.

Proserpine resident Casey Stinson died in hospital after the bus left the road and overturned at Cannon Valley, near Airlie Beach, on Tuesday afternoon.

Hundreds of people have joined a Facebook group featuring a slideshow of pictures of the 19-year-old on Wednesday morning.

"May you rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten," one woman posted.

"It's amazing to know he was so loved by others," a family member said.

Ten people were injured in the crash, including one person who lost their arm and a 17-year-old man who remains in a critical condition on Wednesday.

Half of those admitted to hospital, including a six-month-old baby, have since been discharged.

The other three patients are in a stable condition.

The cause of the accident, which occurred on a straight stretch of road under clear blue skies, is unknown.

Police are set to review the bus's dashcam footage in their investigations on Wednesday.

The bus rollover led to one of four deaths on the state's roads in a day.

The tragedy was followed by a serious crash involving a bus and two cars at Benowa, on the Gold Coast early on Wednesday morning.

A 66-year-old man, who was driving the car, and a 54-year-old bus driver were taken to hospital with injuries.

No passengers were on the bus at the time.
