Fury says Klitschko fight postponed

Tyson Fury says he has sprained his ankle and his boxing rematch with Wladimir Klitschko has been postponed.

World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury says his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko has been postponed after the British fighter hurt his ankle in training.

Fury didn't give a new date for the fight, which was scheduled to take place on July 9 in Manchester.

Speaking Friday in a video posted on his Instagram account, Fury says he sprained his ankle 10 days ago while running, and that doctors said to keep off it for six to seven weeks.

Fury says "the fight will be postponed. Sorry to all fans, to let you all down, but injuries do happen".

Fury won a decision over Klitschko in November in Duesseldorf, German.

He was set to defend his WBO and WBA belts in Manchester.
