A hybrid between the motorcycle and car may be the future of the auto industry.
CEO and founder of Lit Motors, Daniel Kim, has been working on a prototype of what he hopes will soon become the primary vehicle for US drivers.
“The best way to describe it is we take the efficiency and romance of a motorcycle and we integrate the convenience and safety of a car," Kim told CNN.
The vehicle, which runs on two wheels like a motorbike but is driven with a steering wheel, will also be fully electric and boasts a new technology to keep it upright.

"We use the gyroscopes to stabilise the vehicle when it's tilting and leaning in a turn,” Kim said.
“So let's say if you come up to an intersection and you get t-boned, what happens is the vehicle will just skid and just scoot over and it will never actually fall over... it will always be upright on two wheels."
If released, Lit Motors said it will price the vehicle at approximately $16,000.
