There is universal condemnation of the actions of North Korea despite no formal statement from the G20, a senior cabinet minister insists.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has expressed disappointment that leaders failed to condemn the rogue nation's ballistic missile tests, but Mathias Cormann says there wasn't enough time to agree on a statement at the largely economic forum.
"Don't assume for one second that there is not a universal condemnation of the actions of North Korea, there is," he told ABC radio on Monday.
