G20 leaders are "utterly united" in a commitment to defeat terrorism, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says.
Mr Turnbull and other G20 leaders are set to release a statement later on Monday in the Turkish resort city of Antalya which will commit them to stepping up efforts to fight Islamic State and other terrorist organisations.
They will also make new pledges to boost economic growth.
"This G20, I believe, will be known for its commitment to defending our collective national security, standing up against terrorism, doing everything it can to ensure the claims of these terrorists are refuted at every level - and at the same time promoting economic growth and jobs," Mr Turnbull told reporters.
Mr Turnbull said G20 leaders from Muslim nations had given "very strong statements" to the meeting condemning terrorism.
"(They said) they are an abomination to religion and they reject them utterly," he said.
The G20 commitments also included boosting economic growth, he said.
"While there have been some headwinds in terms of slower growth forecasts nonetheless the commitment remains."
