A Gaddafi family nanny is on the road to recovery after being severely burnt when Gaddafi's daughter-in-law poured boiling water over her head.

Shweyga Mullah needs to visit the hospital almost daily after receiving skin grafts on her torso and scalp and still faces many moths more if treatment but doctors at the Mater Dei hospital in Malta are pleased with her recovery.

CNN found the 30 year-old Ethiopian woman abandoned in a Gaddafi family compound in August after the liberation of Tripoli. She told them Colonel Moammar Gaddafi's daughter-in-law Aline poured boiling water over her head and body when she couldn't keep a child from crying.

Shweyga Mullah was flown to Malta for medical treatment in September after CNN was inundated by offers to help.

She sends a profound thank you to everyone around the world who have helped with medical treatment with the money they have sent.

Although recovering well physically, Shweyga Mullah says she is not ready to return to her native Ethiopia.
