Brisbane's Darcy Gardiner has been fined $2000 after pleading guilty to two separate incidents in Sunday's drought-breaking win over Carlton.

Gardiner was fined $1000 for engaging in rough conduct against Blues skipper Marc Murphy and another $1000 for his involvement in a halftime melee.

Teammates Tom Rockliff, Dayne Beams and Claye Beams and Carlton's Mark Whiley, Patrick Cripps and Clem Smith were fined $1000 apiece for their roles in the melee.

A similar melee at Etihad Stadium 24 hours earlier saw Western Bulldogs young gun Jake Stringer docked $1500 and teammate Michael Talia and St Kilda trio Nick Riewoldt, Sam Fisher and Maverick Weller each hit with $1000 sanctions.

The AFL Tribunal was not required to sit on Tuesday night as all players charged during round six took early guilty pleas.

Melbourne defender Lynden Dunn was fined $1000 for kneeing Sydney's Adam Goodes, while Hawks defender Ryan Schoenmakers and Essendon's Mark Baguley were docked the same amount for rough conduct charges.
