Minister for School Education Peter Garrett has announced the federal government has allocated $22 million over the next four years to the National Indigenous Education Fund and the Indigenous Youth Leadership Program.

Federal Treasurer Wayne Swan will deliver the budget to the Australian people tomorrow night and has already announced the economy has a huge deficit.
