Gas battle intensifying in East Timor

As East Timor prepares to mark its tenth anniversary of independence, another major battle is looming - this time over natural gas, Brian Thomson reports.

This weekend marks the tenth anniversary of the independence of East Timor, a struggle that took decades to win. But the tiny nation is in another major battle - this time over natural gas.

The Greater Sunrise Field lies off the north-west coast of Australia. East Timor and mining company Woodside are in dispute over where to process the fuel, thought to be worth tens of billions of dollars.
