West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle has launched defamation actions against Fairfax Media over allegations he exposed himself to a woman.
Gayle's lawyers have begun three separate defamations against The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and Canberra Times over page-one splashes "falsely claiming he acted indecently during the 2015 World Cup".
The cricketer has strongly denied the allegations.
The defamation proceedings are listed for directions at the NSW Supreme Court on February 26.
Gayle's lawyer Mark O'Brien and London-based management company Insignia Sports International have been contacted for comment.
