German train crash toll rises to 11

A 47-year-old man has died of his injuries after a train crash in southern Germany earlier this week, bringing the death toll to 11.

The death toll from Tuesday's head-on train crash in southern Germany has risen to 11.

Police in Bad Aibling, Bavaria, say a 47-year-old man from the Munich area died of his injuries in hospital Thursday.

Police say 20 people were seriously injured, some of whom are in a grave condition.

A further 62 people suffered minor injuries in the crash some 60 kilometres southeast of Munich.
