Ghanaian teacher Owura Kwadwo has found a unique way to teach his students how to use Microsoft Word without a computer.

The dedicated educator shared photos of his classroom where he had drawn the layout of Mircosoft Word onto a blackboard.

"Teaching of ICT [computer science] in Ghana's school is very funny," Mr Kwadwo wrote on Facebook.

"ICT on the board paa. I love ma students so have to do wat will make them understand Wat am teaching. [sic]"

Due to a lack of equipment, it is not uncommon for teachers to improvise and use blackboards to teach computer skills in Ghana, according to Ghana Pulse.

Mr Kwadwo said schools are becoming better equipped to teach IT, but further investment was needed.

The teacher's hard work quickly picked up admirers around the world. Social media users were quick to praise Mr Kwadwo for his determination.
