Steve Coniglio says he and fellow GWS midfielder Josh Kelly are each in the sweet spot of their AFL careers, but he's not focusing on finalising his next contract.
Both men come off contract at the end of this season and are sure to be high on the wish list of rival clubs.
Coniglio was outstanding in the Giants' first two pre-season games and also in their 2019 campaign opener on Sunday against Essendon.
The hard-working GWS vice-captain is concentrating more on continuing to play well than fretting over the details of what is likely to be a lucrative contract.
"I'm at that stage of my career now, where I really need to cash in on two (good) pre-seasons in a row," Coniglio said.

"I had a strong season last year - Josh is the same. We're in that sort of sweet spot in our careers and, for me, it's just about preparing for games.
"If there's media and then scrutiny that comes with it, I just want to keep playing footy well.
"In terms of when I make my call, I don't have an answer for you, just yet. I'm just priming myself for another big season.
"We've fallen short a couple of years so, for me, to get better individually and then collectively as a team has sort of been my stance on the whole thing.
"When the time is right, I'm sure I will make the call and I'll make the right call."
Giants coach Leon Cameron was effusive in his praise of Coniglio, but not fussed about chatter the midfielder's price tag might be rising with every strong performance.
"Does his price go up because he plays like that? Some may say yes; some may say no," Cameron said after Sunday's win over Essendon.
"But it's irrelevant because he couldn't be more committed to our footy club.
"I'm confident it will get done. He loves the club. It will take it's time; it will play out how it will play out - the same as Josh.
Cameron acknowledged Coniglio, having played 119 senior games, was entering his prime.
"He wants to take his game to another level," Cameron said.
"He wants to become an exceptional player, because he's a very good player now.
"He's driven and one of our most-popular players at our footy club.
"I know every time he runs out every weekend, he gives everything for the jumper."
