Ms Gillard is yet to address the media following new polls that show Labor has fallen in the race for government.
The Nielson poll in Fairfax media gives the the coalition an election-winning lead with 52 per cent of the two-party preferred vote.
The polls are not the only problem the recently installed Labor leader is facing, with reports she did not always attend top secret meetings of the national security committee.
