A 15-year-old girl has been charged with stabbing a 47-year-old man multiple times in the back in north Queensland.
The pair, who are known to each other, had a verbal argument which became physical on Wednesday night in the Cairns suburb of Wooree.
The man was taken to Cairns Base Hospital and underwent surgery overnight, while the girl has been charged with one count of act intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
