Genworth Mortgage Insurance Australia has appointed Ian MacDonald as its new chairman after Richard Grellman announced he will retire from the role at the end of the month.
Chief executive Georgette Nicholas thanked Mr Grellman for his contribution saying he had been instrumental in "preparing the company for listing on the ASX and managing the transition".
Mr MacDonald, who has 40 years experience in financial services including a decade as non-executive director of Glenworth, currently is a director of the Arab Bank of Australia and of Tasmanian Public Finance Corporation.
