Belgian David Goffin has won the Kooyong Classic with a sweeping win over Spain's Feliciano Lopez in the final.

The world No.16 made short work of Lopez, ranked 19th, in the traditional Australian Open warm-up tournament, winning 6-4 6-2 on Friday in just on an hour.

Earlier, Pablo Carreno Busta took out third place with a win over Frenchman Gilles Simon 6-4 3-6 10-3, with the last set being decided by a super tiebreaker.

The Spaniard has been drawn against Australian Nick Kyrgios in the opening round of the Open, starting on Monday.

"It'll be a tough match. He's a really good player," said Busta, who is ranked world No.67.
