Google tricycles map remote Brazil

Google has replaced its typical Street View cars with camera equipped tricycles and boats to reach the remoter parts of Brazil's Amazon region.

Emmanuel Evita, Google public relations manager, says Google worked closely with the communities while capturing the images.

“In these areas a lot of them feel that even in Brazil, even in the nearer cities there's not a lot of knowledge about the fact that they exist there and they live there. A lot of the view this attention that they are receiving to show that they have a local culture and they have many things they can share with potential visitors and tourists,” he said.
