Gold Logie nominee Grant Denyer has walked away from a rally crash in Victoria, while his co-driver has a suspected broken leg.

Mr Denyer and co-driver driver Dale Moscatt crashed on stage 12 of the Lake Mountain Sprint in Marysville.

In a statement, Network Ten says Mr Denyer is in "good spirits" despite the crash.

"Grant walked away from the crash and was then airlifted to a Melbourne hospital as a precaution for assessment," the statement reads.

"Grant has sustained bruising to his lower back while Dale has a suspected broken leg. Grant is walking around and is in good spirits."

Both men were rescued from the vehicle and taken to an on-site medical centre for assessment before being flown to hospital.

"Families have been notified and every one at the Australian Tarmac Rally Championship wishes both Grant and Dale a speedy recovery," rally organisers said in a statement posted to Facebook on Sunday afternoon.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said two men were injured in a car accident about 1.20pm at Marysville.

One was flown to the Alfred Hospital with a pelvis injury while the other was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with a leg injury.

Both are in a stable condition.

Mr Denyer, host of Ten Network's Family Feud, was announced as a Gold logie nominee on Sunday.

He is also nominated for the best presenter award.

Mr Denyer's manager Titus Day has told News Corp the father-of-two could have escaped with just a broken finger and lower back bruising.

The TV host has long competed in motorsport, starting with karts at 16 and he entered his first car race at Mount Panorama in 1999.

In September 2008, while doing a monster truck jump demonstration his vehicle landed heavily, breaking it's suspension and landing Mr Denyer with a shattered vertebrae.
