Greenpeace scale German embassy in London

Greenpeace protesters have climbed to the roof of Germany's embassy in London to protest coal mining.

Activists from environmental group Greenpeace have scaled the German embassy in London, unfurling a giant green banner which called for an end to the use of coal.

At least five activists climbed to the roof of the building with a banner which read: "Exit Coal - Protect Hambach Forest," according to a Reuters photographer at the scene.

The protest comes after a German court on Friday temporarily blocked coal mining company RWE from razing further sections of the ancient forest near Cologne.
